On September 13th, Mark participated in the Pike's
Peak Challenge, the annual
fund-raiser for the Brain Injury Association of Colorado. Brrr! It was 40
degrees or colder
and snowing during a good part of the ascent, but spirits were high amongst all
the hikers,
since it is for an excellent cause. At last, Mark reached the summit of Pikes
Peak
after the 13 mile, 6,500 vertical ascent!
